Collège theatre

This theatre course is offered to all students who follow the ASEICA program and provides an ideal creative and emotional balance to academic study.

We firmly believe in the tradition of educational theatre that not only identifies and enriches artistic talent but also enhances a student’s confidence and personal worth. In these extra-curricular classes, students participate in a variety of group activities and learn the values of working in a team.

Activities include:

  • Improvisation, which sharpens the senses and encourages students to think quickly and creatively.
  • Physical and vocal exercises, allowing students to release tension and train towards effective use of mind, body and voice.
  • Script work, which promotes confidence in speaking aloud and hones memorization skills.
  • Directing short dramatic scenes, encouraging students to take on responsibility and further voice their creative ideas.

At the end of the academic year, students present a short public performance which allows them the chance to display the skills they have acquired.

Auditions are usually held mid September and the classes run until the end of May. The sessions are taught in English by ASEICA teachers.
