Pedagogical Director

Kevin Jackson was appointed Pedagogical Director of Aseica in January 2010.

Kevin comes to ASEICA with twenty-plus years of progressive teaching experience at the middle school, secondary school, and higher education levels. He also taught for several years in the classes prépas.

Just before joining ASEICA, Kevin was a professor (for fifteen years) and Head of the Language and Communication Studies Department (for five years) at a French Grande Ecole de Commerce.

He has taught a wide array of courses including English Language and Literature, English as a Second Language, Language Arts, Composition and Rhetoric, United States History, World History and Business Communication.

Apart from his interest in teaching, his other areas of professional interest are applied linguistics and language acquisition, discourse analysis, the writing process and new technologies in education.

A native of Chicago, Kevin Jackson has resided on the French Riviera since 1994. He is married and has two children.
