In January 2021, 22 students from the CIV participated in the 53rd annual session of the Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) conference, on the « Moving Forward » theme.
This year our students represented two countries; Gabon and Qatar. Student delegates worked collaboratively to propose and adopt formal resolutions that attempt to solve some of the world's most pressing issues. The opening ceremony was made even more special this year as the organisers selected a short film produced by two CIV students; Lina Louet and Ines Talis to be included in the ceremony. https://vimeo.com/504348491
All the students from the CIV were outstanding during the week, they truly acted as ambassadors for our school. They supported and advised each other, took on leading roles throughout the lobbying and debating processes and always worked with good humour and positivity.
Congratulations to all!
