Bilingualism

At the present time there is an enormous amount of research being carried out on bilingualism in educational institutions throughout the world. Thinking has certainly moved on from the time when people feared it and considered it likely to harm children's development and opportunities!

There is now a consensus developing that it is in fact hugely advantageous, developing abilities in children beyond those seen in their monolingual peers, while clearly providing them with the tools to succeed in today's world.
